Parivarik Anaj Packet (Food Distribution Drive)
Our story of hope, honesty, and humanity amid the coronavirus pandemic began with the distribution of food rations. Individuals and organisations joined hands during the collective distress and shared pain to help out our fellow countrymen. We started a campaign with focus on delivering ration those who are not able to make money in the pandemic or those who weren’t able to go to sites where food was being distributed. These were not migrants or homeless, but families who had lived in Varanasi across generations.
We successfully managed to minimize cost of the 'Parivarik Anaj Packet' which can feed a family of 5 for 7-10 days, to $8 per packet. The packet includes:Wheat Flour- 5 Kg, Rice- 2Kg, Dal- 1 Kg, Sugar- 1 Kg, Salt- 500 gm, Mustard Oil- 200ml, Tea leaves- 250gm, Refined Oil- 500gm, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala, Vegetable Masala, Coriander Powder, Biscuits- 2 Packets.
We distributed over 4.5 lakh meals to the underprivileged communities impacted by the coronavirus pandemic in Varanasi. PepsiCo Foundation, in partnership with Akshaya Patra Foundation initiated the distribution program.
The program was jointly flagged off by Ashok Dhawan, MLC, Uttar Pradesh; Kaushal Raj Sharma, District Magistrate, Varanasi; Harsh Pal Kapoor – Member Vyapari Kalyan Board, UP and Vaibhav Kapoor, General Secretary, Sewa Bharti.
Masks For All
These masks are being distributed through our network of local volunteers and organizations, directly to individuals in need of respiratory protection. We have enlisted the help of Dove Foundation, to distribute personal protective face masks in slums and to urban poor in the city of Varanasi.
#PadsAreEssential (Sanitary Napkin Distribution)
Sanitary napkins, an essential product of feminine hygiene, were not initially included in the list of essential items issued by the various governments. As a result, a lot of women lost access to these essentials. My team and I took it upon ourselves to raise funds to distribute sanitary napkins to women in rural areas. With assistance from Chef Vikas Khanna, we received a sponsorship of 18,000 sanitary napkins form the sanitary napkin manufacturer 'Niine'.

As people who have won the ovarian lottery to be born in a privileged household, it is our duty to share the gift of education with people who don't have access to it. We identified the learners' needs and designed learning activities to meet their individual needs.

The program called HP World on Wheels (WoW), is part of HP’s global initiative to create opportunities in undeserved communities and empower people everywhere to build a better, more prosperous life. It also supports the Indian government’s Digital India initiative to transform the country into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The program aims to reach 6,400 Indian villages, impacting more than 15 million people over the next six years.
Beyond The Conventional Classroom

An initiative taken on a private level to empower school students with the exposure and capacity of engage in social activism through their formative years. Starting with going through the middle-school accelerated learning program, where they're exposed to societal problems through behavioural activities that get them to manifest socially problematic behaviours.
